This was the piece that got me hooked to Carnatic music...

My aunt, a veena teacher, was once playing it while I was at her house, and when she played a particular portion of the keerthana ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHSUorwH88w - 4m59s-5m25s - no, she's not my aunt!), I realized I really liked carnatic...and then one thing, as it always does, lead to another...

I started learning the veena under her, though in fits and starts...today, I can play the entire keerthana reasonably well on both veena and guitar
